As we look closely at the life and ministry of our Lord Jesus, it is interesting to note that He focused on the training and discipling of a few. Jesus obviously spent time with the multitude, preaching, teaching, healing and doing good. But Jesus kept a laser like focus on the multiplication of His life, His purpose, His truth, His values, His mission.

Jesus wasn't just looking for Sunday Christians - for those who would simply hold to certain beliefs or doctrines but would never meaningfully live them out as our Lord did. Jesus' focus was to imprint His life on others so that they would become like Him, to do as He did.

In Great Commission churches over these past 40 years, God has taught us many lessons about making disciples of Jesus Christ. At this year's Pastors Conference, we will look at the lessons learned in the 1970's, 1980's, 1990's and in the 21st century -- and we will learn how we can apply those lessons in future years.

Come and join us at this year's Pastors Conference as we celebrate 40 years of making disciples. And join us as a church movement in the future as we together follow the Lord Jesus in making disciples of all the nations.
